All Things Stewardship
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and this year’s stewardship campaign is coming to an end. This is a perfect time to reflect on all that we have been given and all that we are thankful for here at St. Philip’s and in each of our lives.
This Sunday, November 28, is the First Sunday of Advent and begins a new church year. Advent is a season of anticipation and expectancy. It holds the promise that something is coming to us. It’s a time to look to the future and what might be in the parish and in each of our lives. It asks us to plan, prepare, and participate.
In that regard, on Sunday, the 28th, we’ll have breakfast together at 9:00 in Briscoe Hall, and we’ll offer our pledge cards at the 8:00 and 10:30 services.
In case you missed any of the stewardship activities or talks, you can catch up here:
- Fr. Mike’s Letter to the Congregation; and
- 2022 Pledge Cards can be printed and offered in person, or offered online.
If you missed our two parishioner talks to the congregation, please take a minute and read or hear what they had to tell us about their own experience with stewardship.

We hope to see you at breakfast this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in Briscoe Hall. We will give thanks for our life here at St. Philip’s and once again enjoy a delicious meal together as a family. It’s been way too long!
Blessings to you and your family for a Happy Thanksgiving! Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
