The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi – Pet Blessing
Dogs dominated at our annual pet blessing on the lawn on Sunday. It was a beautiful afternoon and we had a large assortment of big and small . . . dogs! Some dogs were eager and happy to receive their blessing, but some were not as eager but still received a blessing from a distance!
While we didn’t have any cats, goats, horses, squirrels, or exotic lizards this year – we offered prayers for all of Gods living creatures!
Thanks to the Beverly Heyen, Delia Light, Brenda Martin, and the children’s Sunday school classes for preparing “Puppy (People) Chow” for refreshments!
