Staycation Bible School 2020

Vacation Bible School is often a highlight for many children during the long summer months. It’s a time to learn about God’s love in fun and exciting ways with crafts, songs and more. This year is different. We’re not able to meet in person but  your children can still participate – just in a different way.

The Christian Formation Committee of the DWTX has put together an excellent program called “Staycation Bible School 2020”. It’s an opportunity for your family to gather and learn about the love Jesus and God have for us all.

Take a look here and gather your materials so you are ready to start next week. This program is based on the book The Very Best Day: The Way of Love for Children, written and Illustrated by Roger Hutchinson. You can purchase the book if you would like to –  but it’s not necessary as the video will read the portion of the book that relates to that day’s lesson.Next week we will start with Lesson One “Turn”. The weekly newsletter will include links to the video, songs, and more. We would love to have videos and photos of your children participating in Staycation Bible School 2020 that we can share with everyone.
