Have you seen our new website?

Our New Website Is Up!

We have completed our work on our branding strategy and now our newly branded website is up and running. This new website includes additional updated content, new features, a section for church members, and more. There is still work to be done, and we will continue to make edits and updates,  but it’s finally here.  Our website address remains the same: stphilipsuvalde.org.

Our front page is a scrolling front page. It is designed to give someone a broad look at St. Philip’s in a quick glance. The front page answers many of the questions that someone new to St. Philip’s may be asking:  such as worship times, general information, photos, a look at what’s happening here as well as links to social media, address, phone, and more.

“Parishioner’s Portal” – What is that?
One of our new features is a Parishioner’s Portal. This portal is password protected due to the personal content that can be found in the portal and is available to members or those who attend regularly.

The  new portal includes:

  • The monthly calendar with schedules for servers, vestry person, bereavement, etc;
  • An expanded calendar which includes internal parish meetings, and more;
  • A place to submit prayer requests to be included in our Prayer’s of the People.
  • Access to our online church directory.

This portal may be expanded to be even more functional in the future for members of St. Philip’s.

Who has access to the Portal?
Anyone who is a member (or considers themselves a member/frequent visitor) of St. Philip’s and has their email listed in our church directory. Anyone not currently in our church directory can be added at anytime by contacting the church office. Passwords to the portal will be changed periodically. Only those with email addresses in the parish directory will be advised of periodic password changes via email. Again, If you are not listed in the church directory or if you know  someone who is a member  of St. Philip’s, who may not yet be in our church directory, please ask them to contact the church office and we will get them added.

How do I get the password?
If you are listed in the St. Philip’s on-line directory (with your email address) you should have received an email with the password yesterday. If you did not receive the email then your email may not be listed in the directory and we need to update the directory. Again, passwords to the portal will be changed periodically. Only those with email addresses in the parish directory will be advised of periodic password changes via your email.

Need Help? Have Questions? Feel free to contact the church office.
