Join us on the front lawn of St. Philip’s for the annual St. Francis Blessing of the Animals.
All pets are welcome to receive a blessing from Fr. Tanner. St. Francis Medallions will be given to every furry and feathered friend. A photo booth will be available for family pet photos!
For the safety of all participants, please keep your pets on a leash.
Treats will be served for all.
On this feast, we celebrate Francis of Assisi, who delighted in creation and embraced poverty to follow Jesus more closely. His life invites us to see the divine in all living things.
“…grant your people grace to renounce gladly the vanities of this world; that, following the way of blessed Francis, we may… delight in your whole creation with perfectness of joy…”
