Annual Blessing of the Animals
It’s that time of year! Get ready to gather on the front lawn to bless our animal friends. Don’t forget to bring your pet on a leash, in a cage, or whatever will keep them safe!

St. Francis of Assisi was born in Assisi, Umbria, Italy, in 1181, and died in 1226. He is the patron saint of the environment, animals, and birds because of the respect he gave to all God’s creatures.
